CLARK — Fourth grade students in Mrs. Philippakos and Ms. Meredith’s fourth grade science class at Frank K. Hehnly School in Clark have been learning about magnetism. As a part of a science experiment each student was given a magnet and a cup with iron filings. The students were able to explore and discover how the iron filings were attracted to the magnet. This experiment allowed students to have hands on experience with magnetism. Pictured are fourth graders, Bella Venezio and Justin Dragonas who show great enthusiasm about their findings.
