Powerball Jackpot Reaches $200 Million

TRENTON – Tonight’s Powerball jackpot is worth up to $200 million. No one has won the game’s top prize since a Pennsylvania couple claimed the jackpot worth $128.8 million in the Christmas Eve drawing last year.

Two lucky New Jersey Lottery players did win the Powerball third prize of $10,000 for the Wednesday, Feb. 1 drawing. One winning ticket was sold at Pantry 1 Foodmart in Cape May Court House; the other was sold at Krauszer’s Food Stores #607 in North Brunswick .

According to New Jersey Lottery Executive Director Carole Hedinger, in addition to the two $10,000 winners, 54,112 other New Jersey players took home an estimated $311,343 in prizes ranging from $4 to $200.

The winning numbers for the Wednesday, Feb. 1 drawing were: 08, 13, 17, 34, and 59 and the Red Power Ball number was 35.

Tonight’s 11 p.m. Powerball drawing will be shown live on the New Jersey Lottery’s website, NJLottery.net.

The multi-state Powerball game is played in 44 states and jurisdictions.
