Delgado Appointed Library Board Trustee

ELIZABETH — Eloy J. Delgado was sworn in as a newly appointed member the Board of Trustees for the Elizabeth Public Library last month.

Delgado, 23, graduated from Elizabeth High School in 2006 and earned a Bachelor of Arts degree in political science and theater from Fairleigh Dickinson University in 2010. Last year, he was elected as Democratic Committeeman for the Seventh District in the Second Ward.

“I am truly honored by this appointment and cannot wait to serve the residents of The City of Elizabeth in this new capacity. In these economic times, it is important that library continue to provide vital services to the community” says Delgado.
