Clark Police Blotter: Roselle Park Man Charged With Shoplifting

All individuals arrested and charged with crimes are presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in court.

Jan. 23 at 2:42 p.m. – Officer Brian Pereira arrested Roselle Park resident Martin C. Phillips, 39, and charged him with shoplifting merchandise valued at $98.49 from the Shop-Rite Supermarket at 76 Central Avenue. He was also detained on outstanding warrants from Garwood, Kenilworth, Rahway and Roselle Park for contempt of court. He was subsequently turned over to the Garwood Police Department.

Jan. 29 at 6:52 a.m. – Officer Omer Olmeda investigated a report of criminal mischief to a motor vehicle, which was parked at a Westfield Avenue residence.
