Linden Police Seek Bank Robbery Suspect

LINDEN – Police are searching for the man who robbed the Northfield Bank branch on North Wood Avenue yesterday morning, according to authorities.

The suspect entered the bank at approximately 11:40 a.m. and displayed a note demanding money, according to authorities. He walked out of the bank with an undisclosed amount of cash and got into a white, compact four-door vehicle which may have had a temporary license plate tag in the rear window that had been parked in a nearby Dunkin’ Donuts parking lot. The vehicle was last seen traveling west on West Henry Street, according to authorities.
