UNION – On Feb. 8 at 11:30 a.m., the YM-YWHA of Union County is offering a luncheon featuring Cantor Bill Walton in celebration to Tu B’Shevat.
Walton will perform a variety of songs and musical selections. He has sung with the Opera Company of Boston, Amoto Opera, and the Boston Symphony Orchestra. He has performed under famous conductors such as Leonard Bernstein, Seijii Ozawa and Sir Colin Davis.
The luncheon menu includes roast chicken, salad, fruit and dessert. The cost is $3 for Y and JOY members, and $8 for non-members. Call Susan at 1-908-289-8112 ext. 34.
