CLARK — Students in Miss Grigoli’s 4th grade class at Frank K. Hehnly school in Clark learned about the Chinese New Year. As a class the fourth graders learned about the dragon dance, lion dance, and lantern celebrations. Each student made a dragon to symbolize the year of the dragon. Students also enjoyed fortune cookies and shared their fortunes with classmates. In the photograph above, students Alexa Prestinari, Patrick Grady, Matt O’Connor, John Petrucci, and Jenna Thornton show off their Chinese fortunes. (Photo courtesy of Clark Public Schools)
