ALJ Students Take Part In Army Fitness Exercises

CLARK — Arthur L. Johnson High School physical education classes, along with members of the United States Army, have initiated a new fitness activity that will be held once each month in which the members of the United States Army will conduct a physical training session in accordance with Clark School District policies and the Army Guide to Physical Training.

These sessions will engage students in different activities and team building sessions. Some of the activities would include various circuit training and play sports. Circuit training activities include but are not limited to: Side Straddle Hops, Push-ups, Flutter Kicks, Mountain Climbers, V-Ups and Rowers. These sessions also serve to assist the students in learning key values such as Respect, Integrity, and Duty. (All photos courtesy of Clark Public Schools)
