CRANFORD—The Friends of the Cranford Public Library and the Theater Project are pleased to host script-in-hand, staged readings on Saturday, Jan. 21, and Saturday, Feb. 18, at 2:00 p.m. in the Cranford Community Center, 220 Walnut Avenue.
The Theater Project, one of New Jersey’s most highly esteemed professional theater companies, was located at Union County College’s Cranford campus until recently. The January session will feature four short plays by four New Jersey authors: Michael Murphy, Jewel Seehaus-Fisher, Ed Lataro, and Joe Vitale. The February session will feature author Ed Shakespeare’s short plays about life on the boardwalk at the Jersey Shore.
The readings will be followed by a discussion among the authors, actors, directors and members of the audience. Admission is free and all are welcome.
The Theater Project’s new home is at the Burgdorff Cultural Center in Maplewood. For more information about the Theater Project, visit them on the web at http://thetheaterproject.org, or call 1-908-809-8865.
