Six Flags Great Adventure Plans February Job Fairs

JACKSON — Six Flags Great Adventure, New Jersey’s largest seasonal employer, is hiring more than 4,100 employees including 200 internships for the 2012 season from high school students to senior citizens.

Six Flags offers a wide variety of positions and paid internships and offers team members many benefits, including flexible hours, advancement opportunities, health and medical benefits, reward and recognition programs, scholarships, free park admission, incentives from area businesses and much more.

Six Flags has positions open in the following areas: Merchandise, Games, Park Services, Loss Prevention & Security, Landscaping, Human Resources, Food Service, Safari, Marketing, Cash Control, Ride Operations, Lifeguards, Entertainment, Admissions & Guest Relations.

Six Flags is looking for enthusiastic candidates of all ages and backgrounds including students, teachers, stay-at-home parents, retirees and second-wage earners interested in pursuing careers in occupations such as marketing, accounting, criminal justice, theater arts, human resources, hospitality and business management, horticulture and zoology.

The park will host two job fairs, Feb. 11 and 18 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m. in the Employment Center. Before attending, all applicants must visit to complete an online application. Beginning Feb. 6, the Six Flags Employment Center will hold regularly scheduled hours Monday through Friday from 1 to 6 p.m. and Saturdays from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

Six Flags Great Adventure’s Employment Center is located at 1 Six Flags Boulevard in Jackson.
