MANCHESTER, N.H. – Senior Tory Stapleton (Rahway) has been heating up recently for the Southern New Hampshire men’s basketball team.
Stapleton, a graduate of Gill St. Bernard’s HS, is averaging 16.5 ppg over the last four games while shooting 56.8% from the floor (25-44) and 76.1% from the free throw line (16-21) while also averaging 6.5 rebounds per game over that span. In SNHU’s most recent game, a 73-66 loss at The College of Saint Rose, Stapleton finished with 17 points and nine rebounds.
For the season, Stapleton leads the Penmen in both scoring (11.3 ppg) and rebounding (6.9 rpg).
Southern New Hampshire returns to action on Saturday when it hosts the University of New Haven in a 3:30 Northeast-10 Conference contest.
