Elks Announce Flag Retirement Ceremony

EDISON — The New Jersey Central District Elks will conduct their annual Flag Retirement Ceremony on Saturday, Jan. 28, at 10 a.m. at the Menlo Park Veterans Memorial Home in Edison. All are welcome to attend this ceremony which retires our country’s flag with honor and dignity.

You can bring your worn or tattered flags to Elks Lodges in Colonia, Carteret, East Brunswick, Edison., Metuchen, New Brunswick, Piscataway, Plainfield, South Amboy, South Plainfield, Watchung Hills and Woodbridge. Some of the lodges have red, white and blue mailboxes in front of the building in which the flags may be deposited.
