Clark Police Blotter: Officers Make Drug Arrests

All persons arrested and charged with crimes are presumed innocent until proven guilty beyond a reasonable doubt in court.

Jan. 2 at 6:10 p.m. – Officer Chris Lott investigated a report of a stolen motor vehicle at Westfield Avenue.

Jan. 4 at 2:49 p.m. – In the vicinity of Westfield Avenue and Kathryn Street, Detective Antonio Manata arrested Linden resident Andrew Nadel, 23, and charged him with possession of CDS. Bail was set at $25,000, and he was subsequently transported to the Union County Jail.

Jan. 4 at 6:02 p.m. – At 76 Central Avenue, Officer Chris Lott arrested Clark resident Madeline Kukuch, 51, and charged her with shoplifting from the Shop-Rite Supermarket. She was subsequently released on her own recognizance pending a court date.

Jan. 5 at 12:23 a.m. – In the vicinity of Westfield Avenue, Officer Chris Lott arrested Newark resident Marcus Blake, 19, and charged him with possession of CDS. He was subsequently released on his own recognizance pending a court date.

Jan. 7 at 5:39 p.m. – At the Linden Police Department, Officer Eric Richter arrested Linden resident Gregory Hunter, 49, on outstanding warrants for contempt of court. He was subsequently transported to the Union County Jail.

Jan. 8 at 1:03 a.m. – At 1300 Raritan Road, Officer Brian Renda arrested Winfield resident Zachary Meade, 21, and charged him with DWI. He was subsequently released pending a court date.
