Trinitas Baby Was First In Union County In 2012

ELIZABETH — Six pound, 13 ounce Angelie Rivera, daughter of Ana Rivera of Plainfield, won the distinction of being the first baby born in Union County in 2012 when she made her grand entrance at 3:54AM on New Years Day. The new arrival received a full layette basket donated by the Trinitas Maternity staff.

Angelie was followed less than an hour later by 7 pound, 10 ounce Michael Jacob Amaro, son of Trinitas Labor & Delivery nurse Ceclia Amaro and her husband Marcio, who live in Colonia. Michael joins his 3 year old big brother, Lukas, and his 1 year old sister, Sarah. Cecelia, who herself was born at St. Elizabeth Hospital, subsequently delivered all of her children at Trinitas.
