PISCATAWAY— Postal officials are hosting a free seminar at the Piscataway Main Post Office at 3 Skiles Avenue to show small businesses how to find new customers, build more traffic, and increase revenue. The 45-minute presentation will be held at 11:30 a.m. on Thursday, Jan. 12. Mailing experts will be on hand to demonstrate the powerful features and benefits of Every Door Direct Mail Retail, a new simplified mailing service from the Postal Service.

With Every Door Direct Mail Retail service, mailers can drop-off oversized mail pieces without names and addresses in quantities as small as 200 at the local Post Office and have them delivered to specific neighborhoods in the area for less than 15 cents per piece. No permits are needed, and there are no special fees.

Every Door Direct Mail Retail opens-up a brand new quick, easy, convenient, and cost-effective way for businesses to contact local markets. Businesses use a simple online tool at https://smp.usps.gov to identify their target area by city, neighborhood, or specified distance from their location. The mail can be addressed to “Postal Customer,” “Residential Customer,” or “PO Boxholder.”

Registration is not required. For more information, visit the www.uspseverydoor.com or call 1-973-468-7098.
