Clark Police Blotter: Police Arrest Accused Target Shoplifters

All persons arrested and charged with crimes are presumed innocent until proven guilty in court.

Dec. 22 at 3:05 p.m. – In the vicinity of the 1000 block of Central Avenue, Det. Kevin Shackleton arrested Irvington resident Latoya Bivens, 30, on outstanding warrants from Irvington and Newark for contempt of court. She was subsequently transported to the Essex County Jail. Also arrested was Newark resident Kasib Hall, 24, on outstanding warrants from Newark for contempt of court. He was subsequently turned over to the Newark Police Department. Also arrested was Newark resident Laresha Meggett, 24, on an outstanding warrant from Livingston. She was subsequently released on her own recognizance.

Dec. 22 at 3:05 p.m. – At Headquarters, Officer George Marmarou arrested Elizabeth resident Tyiesha Bell, 19, and charged her with shoplifting from the Target Department Store at 45 Central Avenue.

Dec. 23 at 12:11 p.m. – At Headquarters, Officer Kenneth Sarnecki arrested Gillette resident Stacey Reidinger, 29, on outstanding warrants from Clark, Gillettte and the Union County Sheriff’s Department. She was subsequently turned over to the Union County Sheriff’s Department.

Dec. 23 at 10:31 p.m. – In the vicinity of Westfield Avenue, Officer Eric Richter arrested Lakewood resident Julio Casillas, 63, and charged him with DWI. He was subsequently released pending a court date.

Dec. 24 at 1:12 a.m. – In the vicinity of Westfield Avenue, Officer Christopher Tuccio arrested Cranford resident Giampiero Pisano, 57, and charged him with DWI. He was subsequently released pending a court date.

Dec. 28 at 4:18 p.m. – At 45 Central Avenue, Officer Antonio Manata arrested Newark resident Sharron King, 36, and charged him with shoplifting merchandise valued at $19.99 from the Target Department store. He was subsequently released pending a court date

Dec. 29 at 10:02 p.m. – At 45 Central Avenue, Officers Pedro Oliveira and Eric Richter arrested Garwood resident Salvatore Tortorello, 23, and charged him with shoplifting from the Target Department store. He was subsequently released pending a court date. Also arrested was Cranford resident Anthony Mark, 27, who was charged with shoplifting at the Target Department Store and possession of CDS. He was subsequently released pending a court date. Also arrested was Cranford resident Joie Tortorello, 21, who was charged with shoplifting from the Target Department Store. She was subsequently released pending a court date.
