CLARK– In the spirit of the holiday season, second grade students in Frank K. Hehnly Elementary School in Clark decided to donate their class gift money to charity rather than receive presents themselves.

The class decided to give the money to St. Jude’s Children’s Hospital in memory of Nicole Marzano, a 19-year-old Clark resident who was killed in a car accident on Oct. 30. Teacher Ellen Tamburino also chose to donate her holiday class gift.

Marzano was the salutatorian of the 2011 graduating class of Arthur L. Johnson High School in Clark.
