NEWARK – The Alzheimer’s Association’s Greater New Jersey Chapter will present “Caregiver: Are Your Needs Being Met?” on Thursday, Jan. 12, 2012 from 5:30 to 6:30 p.m. at Forest Hill Health Care Center, 497 Mt. Prospect Avenue, Newark.

From the program description: “Caring for a person with Alzheimer’s disease or a related dementia can become an overwhelming experience. Often times, caregivers neglect their own well-being because they are spending so much time with the duties of day-to-day caregiving. This program will examine the symptoms of caregiver stress and offer strategies towards becoming a healthier caregiver and setting realistic expectations for themselves and the person they care for.”

There is no fee for attending this program, however, seating is limited. For registration and more information, contact the Alzheimer’s Association at 1-973-586-4300.
