CLARK — During winter break week, several exciting, free children’s programs will be offered at the Clark Public Library. Why not come in from the cold and check out all the great resources the library offers?
Tuesday morning, Dec. 27, will feature Musical Munchkins. This highly interactive program will engage young children through the use of songs, movement and props. The 10:15 a.m. program is for children aged 2.5 through 5 years. The 11 a.m. program is for children from 6 months through age 2.5 years. Later in the day, children in grades 1 – 6 can make their own fleece scarf at 2:30 p.m. when Miss Nina returns to the library.
Children in 1st through 6th grades can get creative with Legos on Wednesday, Dec. 28 at 1:30 p.m. The week will wrap up as award-winning singer-songwriter Patricia Shih visits the library on Thursday, Dec. 29 at 2 p.m. to present Winter Wonderland.
Children ages 4 and up get to “ice skate” around an imaginary lake, have a fun “snowball fight”, play a book game and of course sing songs praising winter. Together a warm and memorable winter wonderland will be created, right in the library!
Additionally, two recently released children’s movies will be shown during the week. Call or check the library website for additional details. Registration is required for all programs except movies. Priority will be given to Clark residents through Dec. 22. To register, use the library’s online calendar at www.clarklibrary.org , call 1-732-388-5999 or sign up in person
