Bansal Is New Chairman Of The Board At Indus American Bank

ISELIN–The Board of Directors of Indus American Bank elected Anil Bansal as their new chairman. Bansal continues as co-chairman of IA Bancorp, the holding company of the bank.

Bansal is one of the founders of Indus American Bank and has played a leading role in its development since inception. When IAB started operations in 2006, Bansal was co-chairman of the bank and over the years has been active in the growth of the institution.

“I am excited at the opportunity to work closely with my colleagues on the board and with bank management to build on the existing business. I believe there is huge potential for the bank and the community to grow together. We are committed to serving the needs of our customers and the communities we operate in,” said Bansal.

Bansal has been active in the South Asian business community and is presently president of Asian
Indian Chamber of Commerce. An alumnus of IIT Kanpur (B.Tech), University of Notre Dame (M.S. Materials Science) and Syracuse University (MBA), Bansal worked with numerous institutions in the US before embarking on setting up his own businesses. He has led successful computer and real estate companies and his interests include investments in the restaurant business. He is presently CEO of First National Corporation, a real estate investment and management company and chairman of vSplash, an international web design and development company.

Indus American Bank is headquartered in Iselin. It has branches in New Jersey and New York.
