NEWARK—The 13th Annual Charity Motorcycle Run for the Children’s Hospital of New Jersey (CHoNJ) at Newark Beth Israel Medical recently brought over 80 motorcycles to deliver toys for the benefit of pediatric patients. The Elks Motorcycle Committee (MC) of New Jersey and Vinnie’s Bar & Grill in Harrison joined together once again on Dec. 4 to have riders brighten the lives of the children with the gift of toys and games delivered to them by Santa.

As a special treat, Carlos Bakery, of TLC’s “Cake Boss” fame, made a cake for the event, which was contributed by the Elks MC. The cake showed Santa Claus riding a motorcycle to deliver toys for tots.

“We are thrilled to once again be the recipient of toys from the Elks group and greatly appreciate the many riders who spend part of their weekend bringing smiles to the faces of many children,” says Anne Reilly, director of Child Life at CHoNJ.
