EDISON – The Edison Recreation Department has announced a slate of programs and activities for Edison adults and teens beginning in January.
Activities for adults include aerobics, yoga, ceramics, watercolors & acrylics, chess and pool/billiards instruction. Teen activities include weight training, open basketball, watercolors & acrylics, sketching, drawing, painting & sculpting creations, drills and skills basketball, chess challenge, artistic andwriting and pool/billiards instruction.
To participate in these classes, all adults must be registered prior to attending the class. All teens must have a valid Edison Teen Center ID and must register for each class. Teen ID’s are available at either the Stelton Community Center at 328 Plainfield Avenue and the Minnie B. Veal Community Center at 1070 Grove Avenue.
Classes will be held at both locations; teen classes begin on Jan. 9, 2012, while adult classes begin the next day.
