ELIZABETH — State Sen. Raymond Lesniak is calling for Hillary Clinton to be President Obama’s Vice Presidential running mate instead of Joe Biden, who is 69, and he will be making a television appearance this weekend to explain why.

The 64-year old former First Lady, who is now the Secretary of State, finished second to President Barack Obama in the race for the Democratic nomination.

Lesniak will be appearing on New Jersey Power & Politics, a weekly political show that airs on News 12 New Jersey (Cablevision channel 12 and Comcast channel 62). This weekend’s episode will be played at 10 a.m. and 3 p.m. on Saturday and Sunday.
