Edison Township Suspends Public Services

EDISON – Services from a number of township departments have been suspended as Edison grapples with budget issues.

Until further notice, services from Edison TV 15, Personnel and Human Resources, Purchasing, Planning and Zoning, the Health Department (including the Senior Center and Services, Toth Health Center, and all other Health and Human Services) and Inspections and Code Enforcement have been suspended, according to a message on the township’s website.

The Municipal Council will hold a special meeting on Thursday, Dec. 8 at 6 p.m. in the Council Chambers at the Municipal Complex at 100 Municipal Boulevard, when a resolution to transfer money is expected to be discussed.
