UNION – On Monday, Dec. 12, Dr. Gilbert Kahn will discuss the upheaval in the Middle East and its impact on the United States and Israel at the YM-YWHA’s J.O.Y. Lunch and Learn program, beginning at noon.
Kahn is a professor at the Department of Political Science at Kean University. His academic interests and publications concentrate on American government decision-making. Kahn was a consultant to the Council for the Rescue of Syrian Jews and led the lobbying efforts to rescue Syrian Jews. He was also a consultant for many years to the domestic affairs department of Hadassah and political consultant to the Synagogue of America. He is a frequent contributor to the New Jersey Jewish News.
