POUGHKEEPSIE, N.Y. — Kristina Gray of Rahway participated in the Marist College “Up ’til Dawn” fundraiser for St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital in Memphis, Tenn. Gray is a Marist College senior.
“Up ’til Dawn” is a three-day event organized by the college’s Student Government Association. The mission of St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital is to find cures for children with cancer or other catastrophic diseases. Student participants spread awareness and raise funds by staying up all night to write letters to friends and family members to ask for donations.
Marist is an independent comprehensive liberal arts college with an enrollment of 4,500 full-time undergraduate students from 37 states and 17 countries. Founded in 1929, Marist offers 34 major fields of undergraduate study and 12 graduate degree programs.
