LINDEN — The Linden Police Athletic League is collecting new (or like-new) books to give as holiday presents to the children in their programs. They would like to see every child own a book for the holiday season.

If you are able to donate a book for a child, bring it to the Linden Free Public Library. There is a collection box in the main hall where you may contribute your book. The library is located at 31 East Henry Street, just off Wood Avenue, at the junction of the 7-11 Store, and Dunkin’ Donuts.

Books will be collected through Wednesday, Dec. 21. If you have any questions, e-mail the Children’s Librarian, Karen Gray, at kgray@lindenpl.org
