Middle School Students Write About Staying Drug Free

RAHWAY — In conjunction with Red Ribbon Week, Rahway Middle School students participated in an essay contest. The topic was “Staying Drug Free.” In a 300 word essay, sixth, seventh and eighth grade students described how they would stay drug free. Each winner received a book bag. Additionally, first place winners Kami Beckford, Joshua Huertas, and Kasey Leon won a gift card. Second place winner Alisha Griffon and third place winner Malajia Stockly will receive a free yearbook in June.
