Forty-eight years ago today, on Nov. 22, 1963, President John F. Kennedy was assassinated in Dallas, Texas.

The Warren Commission concluded that Kennedy was killed by Lee Harvey Oswald acting alone, but for years the President’s death has been the subject of numerous conspiracy theories.
