NEW BRUNSWICK – With $2,000 on the line and thousands of college football fans in attendance, Dan Perrone of Robbinsville split the uprights at HighPoint Solutions Stadium, and earned cash for himself and the Rutgers University general scholarship fund. Perrone drilled a 25-yard field goal to win the cash prize as part of the Allstate “Good Hands®” Field Goal Net Program, presented by Allstate Insurance Company.

Exhibiting the preparedness of a veteran place kicker, the Rutgers alumnus, who was chosen at random by school officials, won $2,000, equally split between himself and a donation to the university’s general scholarship fund.
