LINDEN – Morning Star Community Christian Center is helping to make sure that some local families will have a Thanksgiving dinner this year.
This charitable initiative is based on the simple concept that a small act of generosity by one person can positively change the lives of many. Recognizing that it may be difficult for families in need to get to the church’s location, this year Morning Star volunteers will deliver a turkey and all the trimmings to them.
“We are privileged to help those less fortunate and it is our corporate mission to give and serve our local community, said Pastor Therman Evans. “Last year we were able to give Thanksgiving baskets and turkeys to over 500 families. It is our pledge to reach even more this year.”
