EDISON — On Friday, Nov. 11, the students in Ellen Colandrea’s fourth grade class participated in “Miss C.’s Second Annual New Jersey Trivia Challenge.” With seven teams consisting of two students each, the object of the contest was to answer a list of 20 questions about New Jersey as accurately and quickly as possible using a web site loaded with facts about the Garden State.

Some of the topics researched were “Travel/Attractions”, “Famous Firsts”, and “Government”. Although every group of highly motivated students succeeded in completing all of the questions, the team members with the highest score were Louisa Sperrazza and Jack Kolbert.

The winners accepted their prizes – New Jersey snow globes, New Jersey key chains and glass bottles filled with shells collected from the Jersey Shore.
