Union County College Loses 1-0 To Nassau In Opening Round

HERKIMER, N.Y. – The Union County College men’s soccer team lost 1-0 to Nassau Community College (N.Y.) in the first round of the NJCAA Division III national championships at Herkimer County Community College yesterday afternoon.

The Union County squad will take on Bergen Community College in a consolation game at SUNY IT in Utica, N.Y. this afternoon.

Nassau will face the tournament host in one of two semi-final games to be played today at Herkimer County Community College. Anoka-Ramsey Community College (Minn.) will play Genesee Community College (N.Y.) in the other semi-final. The two semi-final winners will play each other for the NJCAA Division III national title on Sunday.
