ELIZABETH – Students will have the chance to meet with representatives from over 75 colleges at the Elizabeth Public Schools College Fair on Wednesday, Nov. 2 from 6:30 to 9 p.m. at the Dunn Sports Center at 151 Pearl Street.
Representatives will meet with students and parents to provide information about their academic programs, campus life, and financial aid opportunities and scholarships. Some of the participating colleges include Princeton University, New Jersey Institute of Technology, Rutgers State University, Drew University, St. Joseph’s University, University of New Haven, and Drexel University.
This year, in addition to Elizabeth’s high school students, students in grades 6, 7, and 8 will have a chance to experience a college fair to get an early glimpse of the wide range of opportunities available to pursue in their post-secondary studies. The Middle School students are invited to attend from 6:30 to 7:30 p.m.
Superintendent of Schools Pablo Muñoz said, “This is wonderful way for our high school students to compare program offerings at various institutions, while for our middle school students, it promotes interaction with post-secondary educational institutions and is a positive step toward helping our students realize their dreams.”
