Breast Cancer Event Offers Information About Environmental Concerns & Risk Reduction

MORRISTOWN — Learn about “Environmental Concerns & Risk Reduction” at an event sponsored by the Northern N.J. Affiliate of the Young Survival Coalition—the only international network of breast cancer survivors and supporters dedicated to the concerns and issues unique to young women and breast cancer— on Nov. 7.

The 7 p.m. event will be held at Morristown Memorial Hospital’s Carol G. Simon Cancer Center at 100 Madison Avenue, Morristown.

Learn how to keep your inner and outer environment safe from the hormone-disrupting household, garden, beauty and personal care items in your daily life. Discuss how to choose safe and effective products for your family’s use. Learn how to strengthen your body’s resistance by incorporating certain therapeutic food, herbs and supplements. The guest speaker will be Dale Bellisfield, RN, RH (AGH), clinical herbalist.

This will be a very interactive event with plenty of time for questions and answers and open to all cancer survivors, supporters and volunteers. There is no charge to attend this event. It is supported by a grant from Susan G. Komen for the Cure North Jersey.

RSVP to Naomi Gewirtz, YSC NNJ, at or call 1-201-843-6695.
