PERTH AMBOY…Raritan Bay Medical Center is sponsoring an HIV support group meeting every Monday, 6 to 8 p.m. Anyone diagnosed with or caring for someone with HIV is welcome to attend. Meetings are held at the hospital’s Perth Amboy location, 530 New Brunswick Ave. Free and confidential rapid HIV testing is also provided by the medical center, with results known in 30 minutes. PERTH AMBOY… Raritan Bay Medical Center’s monthly tour of its Dr. Sam. Gordon Berkow Maternity Pavilion and family health information open house will be held Wednesday, November 9, at 7 p.m. Newly expectant parents are invited to take the tour and learn about the maternity unit’s modern comforts designed to provide a calm and relaxing birthing experience. As part of the event, information is provided in an open house format about child car seat safety, guided imagery and body mechanics training for use during labor, nutritional information for mother and child, how to pick a pediatrician and an infant CPR demonstration. OLD BRIDGE… Raritan Bay Medical Center’s Division of Integrative Medicine is offering a Massage and Exercise for Neck, Shoulder, & Back Pain seminar Wednesday, November 9, 7 to 8:30 p.m., at the hospital’s Old Bridge location in Auxiliary Hall B & C, located on the lower level of the Medical Arts Building, adjacent to the hospital on Ferry Rd. between Routes 9 & 18.

PERTH AMBOY…Raritan Bay Medical Center’s Division of Integrative Medicine is offering a free “Journey to Health” education series, reviewing a variety of integrative approaches to good health and wellness. Raritan Bay Medical Center is sponsoring a one day Childbirth Education / Lamaze Class Saturday, November 12, 8 a.m. to 4 p.m. The class is designed to help expectant parents better understand the childbearing process. A registered nurse with special training in labor, delivery and childcare techniques will facilitate the class. It will be held in Centennial Hall, 530 New Brunswick Ave., Perth Amboy.
