RAHWAY — On Saturday, Oct. 8, 25 students from the Rahway High School Social Action Club joined community members, the Rahway River Association and members of Cub Scout Pack 30 from St. John the Apostle School in Clark for the fourth annual fall cleanup of Milton Lake Park in Rahway. The RHS Social Action Club, under the leadership of adviser and English/Journalism teacher Elizabeth Graner Jotz, concentrates its efforts on environmental concerns. The club recently made headlines for the Water Champions Program, a collaborative effort among the Rahway High School students, AmeriCorps, Rutgers University Water Resources Program and the New Jersey Department of Environmental Protection.
