CLARK – Out of 11 competing area grammar schools, St. John the Apostle’s eighth graders won third place and took home eight awards in the 40th annual Scholastic Olympics hosted by Roselle Catholic High School. Students from the Clark school earning first place awards were: Angelica Lettini (Current Events), Nicholas Cunningham (English); second place awards – Victoria Jiang (Mathematics), Sophia Nitkin (Science), Jakob Frank (Current Events), Kevin Malar (Mathematics), Alexei Tyburczy (Art); third place award – Kathleen Conaty (Religion).
