EDSION – Township residents and members of the Edison Wetlands Association will co-host a public meeting to discuss toxic contamination issues at the Chevron-Ortho Chemical Site on Metuchen Road in South Plainfield.
The meeting will begin at 7 p.m. tonight, Oct. 26, in Room 203 of the Stelton Community Center, 328 Plainfield Avenue, Edison. A technical advisor from Chapin Engineering will present recent sampling information regarding the off-site discharge of pesticides and other site-related issues, according to organizers.
Edison Wetlands Association is a non-profit organization that promotes conservation and the cleanup of hazardous waste sites.
