Trudi’s Corner – Thoughts On Some Recent News Stories

How many were fed up with the constant bally-hoo and repetition of Gov. Chris Christie being pushed for President? Now we have the answer. It is NO.

The next is the remark that the Democrats are not keen to work with the Governor. What is it with people? There must be a happy medium somewhere for the benefit of the voters, wouldn’t you agree? Enough is enough already! How many can remember the saying “We grow too soon old, and too late smart?” Tell me, is this the only game in town, and for whose benefit or advantage?

People vote and consider the platform presented and how candidates come across by past performances. I have read comments in reference to Chris, but then you have those who need to attack someone in regards to the size of the clothes he wears. How childish is that?

My thoughts go to those fatalities involving the three boys who lost their lives being near or on the railroad tracks. There’s no explaining as to why these things happen. How many times have parents cautioned children about things that might possibly bring them harm? Too numerous to mention, I’m sure.

I’ve seen a few in my lifetime, such as when my son put match heads in a piece of copper tubing, hammered it shut and had it blow up in his hand. The result was utterly shattering, with the loss of the first joint of his ring finger and at least 75 stitches to close up the palm of his hand.

Enough said, right?
