Scenes From Clark Preschool

READY, SET, SQUIRT! – During a visit from the Clark Volunteer Fire Department, Emma DaFonseca gives it her all as she pretends to put out a fire. DaFonseca and her peers at the Clark Preschool enjoyed a presentation about fire safety during fire prevention week.

COME RAIN OR SHINE… – A little drizzle couldn’t stop students in Ms. Barrett’s class at the Clark Preschool from enjoying a visit from the Clark Volunteer Fire Department during Fire Prevention week. The children watched a short video about safety rules, had a question and answer period and got a chance to spray a real fire hose! Afterwards, the class braved the light rain to get up close and personal with the fire truck.

FALLING FOR APPLES – Students in Ms. Barrett’s class make apple trees using their arms, hands and fingers. The class has been studying apples this fall.

BUGGIN’ OUT! – Children of the Clark Preschool investigate the activities and preferences of a stick bug brought in by a peer. Earlier the children made predictions about which natural items in the tank the bug would prefer. (All photos courtesy of Clark Public Schools)
