Clark Chorus Group To Perform At Oktoberfest Event

WARREN — The Saengerchor of Clark, an all male German chorus, will perform during the Oktoberfest event at Forest Lodge, 11 Reinman Road in Warren this weekend. The celebration begins on Saturday, Oct. 8, from 11 a.m. to 6 p.m. (Rain date: Saturday, Oct. 15.)  The Food & Beverage Pavilion opens at noon to offer authentic German food.

The Saengerchor, a non-profit organization, has achieved acclaim and wide recognition both in concert performances and prize singing during their last 86 years of performing. The chorus’ repertoire consists of German and American folk songs, traditional and light classics, and a sprinkling of barbershop style songs.

Bernie’s Orchestra, a five-piece ensemble, will also entertain Oktoberfest attendees.

Admission is $7 per person. Children under 10 years old will be admitted free. The admission fee includes parking, entertainment and access to the vendor fair.
