Mothers’ Center Kids Stuff Consignment Sale Planned

ROSELLE PARK – The Mothers’ Center of Central New Jersey will hold its semi-annual kids stuff consignment sale on Saturday, Oct. 22 from 9 a.m. to noon and from 1 to 3 p.m. For the first time this year there will also be a public preview sale on Friday, Oct. 21 from 7:30 to 9 p.m.

The public preview sale will allow buyers to preview and purchase merchandise before the general public sale on Saturday, giving access to choice items and great deals. The sale will take place at the Casano Community Center, located at 314 Chestnut Avenue, in Roselle Park.

The sale features gently used children’s spring and summer clothing in sizes from newborn to children’s 12. Other merchandise will include children’s toys, videos and books, sports equipment and bikes, and strollers and other baby equipment.

The Mothers’ Center sale offers high-quality items at a fraction of retail prices. Select from literally thousands of items! The sale is cash only, no strollers admitted.

If you are interested in consigning your unwanted children’s clothes or toys, visit or leave a detailed message at the Mothers’ Center by calling 1-908- 561-1751. You keep 50 percent of the total sold and the other 50 percent is a tax-deductible donation to the Mothers’ Center. Donations of clothes, toys and other children’s merchandise will also be happily accepted.

The proceeds of the sale will benefit the Mothers’ Center of Central New Jersey, a nonprofit, nonsectarian organization providing friendship, education, outreach, and support for all parents across Central New Jersey. The group offers daytime and evening discussion and craft groups, book clubs, morning and afternoon playgroups, library and referral resources, and special events. The center holds groups and events at the Garwood Presbyterian Church and Casano Community Center. On-site babysitting is available for most daytime activities. New members are welcome at any time.
