KEARNY — Acting Gov. Kim Guadagno visited a solar energy site being built on a former Kearny landfill yesterday. Approximately 2,000 solar panels are in place now, and the 13-acre facility is expected to come on-line by the end of the year. During a press conference, Guadagno noted that New Jersey has passed California in the number of solar panels installed. (Photo credit: Governor’s Office/Tim Larsen)
