Unbelievable how time flies, as is said, when you’re having fun. I attended a church picnic on Saturday the 17th, and fortunately the weather was great. Trust me, I enjoyed a taste of everything and as my son would say, “You can’t beat that with a stick.” There was good music, face painting for the kids and balloons blown up in many various shapes of whatever you can imagine. This was on a Saturday, so you have to know that I literally had no interest in food on Sunday.
My only regret is the fact that so many friends were missing. Sad to say, many have moved away or passed away. I’m lucky that I can still navigate and help myself in many instances. “Wow” I guess I’m pouring it on, but I do have to have someone to cut the grass as I can’t start the mower anymore.
How many always say they’re going to do a certain thing and then forget about it? My biggest problem is to really dispose of things, because I’m never going to fit in some clothes or make use of household items. How about gifts and nick-nacks that require dusting and maybe rearranging? Forget about sentimentality. What is precious to us is a hindrance to someone else.
I need someone’s help to organize and get rid of unnecessary things, because it’s just going to get “dumped” eventually, so I should get started. But then hopefully, there’s always tomorrow, right?
