The Provident Bank To Open New Branch In Clark

CLARK – On Saturday, Sept. 24, The Provident Bank will celebrate the opening of a new branch in Clark located at 1139 Raritan Road. The new office will replace the branch previously located at 10 Westfield Avenue.

A ribbon-cutting ceremony will take place at 9 a.m., and grand opening festivities will continue through 2 p.m. The public is invited to join in the celebration.

“We have been fortunate enough to have served the people of Clark and the surrounding area for the last 14 years,” said Gloria Fuster, banking center manager. “The new location will offer increased convenience to current customers and introduce Provident to new people looking for the capabilities and services of a big bank delivered with the personal touch of a neighborhood bank. We look forward to a fun-filled grand opening.”

As part of the celebration, free refreshments will be served, including breakfast and lunch, Italian ice and specially made zeppoles. There also will be free activities for kids, such as a balloon artist and moon bounce. Plus, jazz band “I Michaels Trio” will perform in the branch parking lot.

In addition, visitors can try their luck at Provident’s Instant Cash Rewards Game with a top prize of $500, and win a chance to step into a whirlwind of flying money in a cash machine. The bank also is hosting a special sweepstakes for an opportunity to win a $2,500 cruise travel voucher – entries will be accepted at the Clark branch through October 29.

Provident representatives will be on hand to greet visitors and answer questions about the bank and its services.

Along with the grand opening celebration, Provident is offering free gifts, such as a wine tote, radio cooler, food processor, knife set or lightweight stadium seat, with the opening of certain new checking accounts. Check with the branch for details: 1-732-499-0800.
