RAHWAY–Northfield Bank will host a community “Shred It Day” on Saturday, Sept. 24 from 9 a.m. to 1 p.m. at their Rahway and East Brunswick branches. Shredding events give individuals the opportunity to have their confidential documents destroyed on site, free of charge.
“Consumer fraud and identity theft are becoming more prevalent in our communities,” stated Damien Kane, Vice President and Director of Marketing for Northfield Bank. “This event gives our community members the opportunity to shred their personal information with a company they know and trust.”
Northfield’s Rahway branch is located at 1515 Irving Street and the East Brunswick office is at 755 State Highway 18, Brunswick Square Mall.
Shredding will be performed by Shred-It, one of the world’s leading document shredding and recycling company. There is a 3-box/bag limit per person, and all documents will be shredded on site.
