Elizabeth Men Charged In Linden Burglaries

LINDEN – Two Elizabeth men have been charged with residential burglaries that took place in Linden during August and September, police announced today.

Piotr S. Dorobek, 19, has been charged with five counts of burglary and theft, while Anthony L. Alicea, 18, has been charged with one count of burglary and theft.

Linden detectives were informed of the suspects’ arrests by the Elizabeth Police Department on Sept. 19. After an investigation by Linden detectives Edward Adams and David Dehler, the charges were filed.

Dorobek is being held in lieu of $250,000 bail and Alicea in lieu of $25,000 bail, respectively, on the Linden charges. The investigation is continuing by both the Linden and Elizabeth Police Departments.
