CLARK — Several musicians from the New Jersey Workshop for the Arts Music Studio will host The Instrument Petting Zoo at Kids Kingdom during the Union County MusicFest 2011.

The hands-on Instrument Petting Zoo will take place at Oak Ridge Park, Featherbed Lane in Clark. Specific times for this event are Saturday, Sept. 17, from 11 a.m. until 5 p.m. and again on Sunday, Sept. 18, from noon until 6 p.m.

Dr. Ted Schlosberg, Wayne Trager, Janet Lyman and Daniel Lyman will demonstrate and provide instruction on strings, woodwinds, brass and percussion instruments. The children will be permitted to try their skills at making melodies.
