CLARK — Due to increasing class size in second grade, the Clark Board of Education created a new second grade classroom this year and subsequently hired Jenna Stafford, a recent graduate of Quinnipiac College.

As a means of introducing the newly hired second grade teacher to her assigned class of students and their parents, Elementary Supervisor Janeen Allmendinger planned and facilitated a special “Meet and Greet Miss Stafford” event on Sept. 2. Stafford presented an eight slide Power Point presentation highlighting her educational training, past educational experiences, and her vision for the upcoming school year.

By the conclusion of the Meet and Greet, students and parents each had the opportunity to chat one on one with the new second grade teacher and extend an introduction. Students commented that they were eager for the start of school and happy to have the opportunity to meet their new teacher.
